Bio in Brief: Saeed Mirfattah is a nonprofit consultant with over 20 years (who’s counting?) of executive level leadership experience under his belt (no one knew he had it in him) working in public and private philanthropy. Over the last three years, he has been leveraging his organizational wizardry as a strategic advisor to help people find their inner awesomeness and to build the capacity of nonprofit organizations to advance their missions (cool, eh?). Thus far, he has generated more than $10 million in grant funding (again, who’s counting?). He has been on Boards of Directors and Advisory Committees at the local, state, and national level (in some instances where he once worked — a pretty sweet and exquisite irony). He has deep expertise in implementing strategic initiatives, forging partnerships, broadening stakeholder awareness and engagement, driving program development, enhancing visibility and sustainability through communication platforms, and managing organizational growth through strategic planning and partnership development.
He has also been advising groups internationally in Rwanda, Israel-Palestine, and South Africa. In the meantime, as a wannabe entrepreneur, he started a couple of small businesses including one for his lifelong passion in photography.
He is now converting what insights he has gained about work and life into text and onto blogs about personal, professional and organizational development (and totally loving the feedback he is getting – cheers!) Topics such as career growth, motivation, and success are covered here while nonprofit organizational development articles are housed on this website in the blog section. He has also begun authoring several publications to support career and personal development.
